Feel free to open the website OpenSecrets to do some searching around for some campaign fundraising. How much money is needed to be president, a representative, a senator? Is it easier to raise money as an incumbent or as a challenger or is there a significant difference? Who donates to candidates/parties? Who are my neighbors donating to and should I still talk to them? Feel free to post your comments. Extra credit to the first person to respond with how much $ Oprah Winfrey donated to the 2012 election and who she donated to.
