Political Parties

For those of you who like to read ahead or aren't quite sure whether you would like to live in a red state or blue state (unfortunately those are the only 2 colors currently available) here are a few websites to whet your appetite.

http://www.democrats.org/

http://www.rnc.org/

This should give you something to talk about around the ol' lunch table. I look forward to some interesting sharing of political ideology and philosophy over the next few weeks.

I know in the past I've supported Bush and the Republican party, but today, here and now I would like to pledge my full support to the late, great Theodore J. Roosevelt and the Bull Moose party.

You know what? If you haven't checked out that Bull Moose Party website...you should. I like it...I like it a lot. It's against a lot of mumbo-jumbo politics and more interested in the action one can do. I'm on the bandwagon, SirEric...I'm on. :)

Hmmm. . .very impressive language from the Bull Moose Party, but who isn't for a strong and free America? While their site outlines principles, it is brief on specifics, as they seem to acknowledge in their 4th FAQ response.

Not even sure it should be considered a third party, considering their second FAQ response and also considering the comments of Jonathan Freiman, director of policy development for the BMRs.

According to Freiman, the organization hopes "to work within the party as an umbrella organization, to work with other GOP organizations and to grow the party by bringing our Republican message to those who have not traditionally felt welcome within the party." http://flakmag.com/features/bullmoos.html

Let's be real here. People aren't ready for the political bomb known as the Bull Moose party. In fact the Democrats and non-Bull Meese Republicans are probably blocking the Bull Moose party for being a legitimate contender because they known once the Bull Moose party gets back on the ticket, nothing and I mean nothing, will be able to get them off again. Oh, by the way...US Pacifist Party rules!!!

In response to the article about the republican needing help and calling up the democrat.......this may be a really lame comparison but hey.....these situations in which people from different factions/groups comet together and help eachother for the common good and speak for everyone (democracy) can be seen many places such as at home in your family. Your parents see things differently than you......and opinions clash most of the time......but when it comes down to it if a parent or kid is in trouble we don't just say hey nope sorry i dont agree with you on everything so i am not going to help you....they come together to make something good happen......American families, clicques in schools, religious groups, etc need to remember that democracy is not just using your "American Voice" to bash those who don't share your opinions, but to help eachother out and remember you speak for the people and not just yourslef.....I was really pleased with this article

Not sure where I should post this, but here's another quiz that tells you a bit more about which way you lean...http://www.okcupid.com/politics

It even tells you which famous leaders have similar political views as you. Pretty interesting.

I liked Marah's political survey. I was accurately labeled a economic and social conservation, for an overall strong Republican "rating." The famous person I matched up with was Reagen <-----Pimp!

I'm going to send this to all my extended family because they're all Democrats. Hopefully one or two will accidentally find out they are Republican and come to the light. J/K, LOL, TTYL, G2G
