One Step Forward and Two Steps Back???

I had to post this for 2 reasons:
1) Very interesting coming off our discussions of Congress, the budget, and our deficit.
2) Direct response to the 2 brave souls who commented on the previous articles about the President and tax cuts (Thank you Becky and Eric!).

Enjoy!!! "House Passes 3 Tax Cuts, Plans a 4th"

Have a great day and look forward to your Inaugural Addresses tomorrow.
Mr. Thompson

"If they want to cut taxes, fine, but they are going to have to cut spending by at least that much to help the deficit, and clearly they are not willing to do that. They have to start looking reality in the face."-Robert L. Bixley from the article. How can we see the reality and Congress can't? Are we missing something? Apparently. I bet it is all a political scheme of some sort, on both sides of the aisle seeing that both Democrats and Republicans alike overwhelmingly supported the cuts. Where'd all the passion go! Well I am glad that two of Minnesota's Reps could see the reality, 2 out of the 4 who voted against the cuts were Minnesotan.
