Yeah, it's boring here at Home Depot, so I'm going to vent again about how President Bush seems like he is running this country into the ground. Is it just me or shouldn't education come before the wars in foreign countries? It just makes no sense to me!

Again.. It's slow at Home Depot haha. It seems to me that President Bush is vetoeing these bills just to prove a point or something. Shouldn't there be no egoes in the White House? And governing our country? What happened to the foundation this country was built on? That's it... Vote Ben Moen for President 2016!!

Bush's refusal to sign the education/health, water, and children's health care bills left me baffled, and kind of scared. Our nation is currently over 9.1 trillion dollars in debt - over 30,000 dollars per citizen - obviously we need to begin to prioritize our spending. But truly, not funding public education to fight foreign wars, and wars on ideas (terrorism = an idea... how do you “win” a war against a concept?)... how does our government justify that? Why are our citizens not expressing their outrage and concern? Alongside Ben and Tony, I am forced to question how much we can truly affect our government anyways. We're reached a very bleak state in a pessimistic world, and this downward spiral looks like it will only continue. The deadlock that is beginning between Bush and congress is going to devastate the US. What do we do? What can we do? Good question…
