Underapplied-for scholarship!!
From an email that was forwarded to me. . ."We have so few entries for our BBB Student of Integrity Scholarship that I am frantically reaching out to principals in our service area to see if they have students who would be interested. There are two scholarships – one $10,000 and one $5,000 – to be awarded to two seniors in high school who can demonstrate their understanding of the importance of ethics and integrity in their lives. This scholarship has less to do with grades and more to do with a student’s character. The scholarships will be presented in conjunction with the Better Business Bureau Integrity Awards, which are given to companies that demonstrate ethics in their business practices. The BBB Integrity Awards will take place Wednesday, October 20 from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. at the Minnesota History Center in St. Paul. Winning students and their parent will receive free tickets to the event, where the scholarships will be presented.
The application and further details are available at http://minnesota.bbb.org/student-of-integrity-scholarship/.
But the deadline is September 20!! It is unclear why we have received so few entries, but none-the-less it makes for good odds for the students that do enter.
If you can spread the word to your seniors (they must be a senior this year) who are interested in attending college next year, please have them visit our Website (above) to download a scholarship entry form."
