Results for E. Decker
Super 33Limits 72Local 75Nature 67Human 75

Your highest score shows which region you currently have the most affinity for. A score over 50 in any region is a high score. Some people will have more than one high score. Multiple scores over 50 indicate a general optimism toward technology. Any score over 70 indicates a strong preference for that region. Multiple scores under 50 indicate a lack of comfort with the technology in general. What we are trying to capture in this short assessment are your intuitive feelings toward different technologies. The goal of this book is to take you from intuition to understanding by showing you the five-regions pattern, which consists of explicit sets of technologies arranged in an entirely new way.

I didn't like this survey. The questions were too one sided. Should everyone have a home? Yes, but let's be realistic. There's got to be preference questions. These questions assume everyone can have a home with affecting anything, unrealistic in my humble opinion.
P.S. He used big, boring technical jargon to explain all this so I got bored and gave up trying to figure out what Super, Limits, Local, Nature, and Human ratings signify.

My scores seem realllly high.... The questions were very precise and allowed little room for argument and some simply assumed the statement to be either true or known by the questioned.

Some of the questions contradicted themselves for me personally. Ex: would you like to take a vacation and walk through a forrest? sure! do you want to escape to the wilderness and make friends with animals? Probably no...I'd rather make friends with people. And then the questions with no qualifiers...are determination etc the best resources of man? No...maybe high on the list...but not best. Anyway, sorry for butchering the quotes, I didn't want to go back to get them

What does a high/low score mean. I know it means "you trust technology" if it's high, but if I have low scores (highest is 52) does that mean I'm pessimistic and want to resort to cavemen and hunt for meat?... because I do.

I got really high numbers, which is weird because I have fairly limited trust in technology and dislike how technology-oriented our lives are becoming.

It isn't the point for the questions to express vast differences in opinions, it was designed to gauge a level of optimism. Optimism isn't your opinion on an issue, it's your attitude towards an idea.

Didn't really like this quiz that much, mostly because it required too much brain power with its annoyingly written questions.
