Bookshelf

Books I'm reading. . .

Amber Spyglass by Phillip Pullman: the third in the Golden Compass series, reading it with my son.

Bush at War by Bob Woodward: first in the trilogy by Pulitzer Prize winning journalist with phenomenal access to the White House.

Oklahoma! by Rodgers and Hammerstein: getting ready for the spring musical.

Love in the Time of Cholera by Gabriel Garcia Marquez: Movie comes out today, re-reading and sharing with my wife.

Book of Fate by Brad Meltzer: Freemason conspiracy thriller for the commute (audiobook).

Decker, you have time to read?
I am envious.

I choose to spend my vast quantity of free time (ha!) going to www.freerice.org

It is awesome- every single vocab word you correctly define gives ten grains of rice through the UN to end world hunger.

Go change the world APLGers.

Isn't it hard to enjoy the books if you're reading so many at once?

I remember really liking the Golden Compass series, though I can't remember much of the story (it must have been good if I took the time to read it). I'm kind of excited for the movie.

The Golden Compass Series beats Harry Lame-Face Potter. Hands down.
