A lot of people hate the Patriot Act, but I think it's a good idea that needs some refining. The Patriot Act is a lot like Affirmative Action and No Child Left Behind, people agree something needs to be done to stop terrorism, promote diversity, and help weaker students. All three have their flaws and most people have things they hate about each one, but until someone can think of a better solution for dealing with our problems, we need to keep the Patriot Act. Chew me out, I'm fine with that, but deep down you would rather have the Patriot Act, instead of having the Mayo Clinic bombed with you in it...
