Rich or Not?

As we start to get ready for those difficult discussions on taxes and spending, this article whets that appetite. There are some bits that should get you guys starting to think about revenue, expenditures, deficts etc.

This article makes me unhappy. I can understand the confusion about the middle class, especially since you never really hear what exactly the definition of "middle" or "upper" class is. I really think there are more things in this country to worry about than how much a person makes and how they should be taxed. I think the taxing should be taken out of each person's wealth at the same percentage just so it would be fair across the board. It is my humble opinion that the money problem should be addressed in how the country itself spends it, not the individual. The money this country spends on this stupid war alone would do wonders for our economy! P.s. I am working right now HAHA it's kinda slow at Home Depot. But that's neither here nor there so vote Ben Moen for President 2032! With Tricia Anklan as my Vice-President!

It’s interesting that federal income tax brackets that are established to tax the rich more than the middle class may not be achieving their goal because of the differences in the cost of living throughout the U.S. It is hard to come up with a “fair” tax system because there are so many factors to consider.
